ALL ABOUT BROMS BUG BOX
I started pinning and framing back in 2010. What started as a small-scale workshop, soon grew into a full-time business specializing in custom, handcrafted frames and hand-pinned specimens. While I love creating new simple pieces, I also derive immense satisfaction from combining various species in a single frame, called a sweep.
We do not have a brick and mortar shop, besides at the Renaissance Festival.
We attend various events each year to provide the in-person shopping experience.
View the calendar below for where we will be next.

Nathan and Katelyn
Only the Best
Since 2010 Nathan has had the mission of preserving nature's art for everyone to enjoy for many generations. Using only museum-grade materials ensures that the animals that are used in our frames stay beautiful and perfect.
Katelyn started helping Brom's Bug Box in 2022. Katelyn helps with the frames but also loves working on miniature items such as necklaces, glass jars and small domes.

"I've gotten 3 pieces from Bromsbugbox and they're honestly the only displays I'll purchase anymore. They always look so beautiful and professional. Highly recommend!"

"I was worried if it would survive the journey all the way from America to Germany, but it did! And it looks amazing!! No damage, it's all like the pictures. You can feel the passion and care that goes into preparing and showcasing these little fellows!!"

"Over the years I have ordered and gotten a lot of different framed insects, but the quality of the one I received from Nate is just amazing! The frame is beautifully made, the glass used is so clear it almost looks like it's not there and the quality of the insects themselves is fantastic. Would highly suggest anyone hesitating to order from this shop to go for it. I will definitely be buying more from here in the future!"
